Requirements, Duties and Responsibilities:
US ARMY UAS Instructor Operator Course
Serve as MQ-1C (UGCS) Instructor Operator for U.S. Army UAS domestic operations in accordance with technical orders, Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, approved Army regulations, and unit procedures.
This position is responsible for ensuring aircraft and ground systems' airworthiness, effective aeronautical decision making and crew resource management while coordinating and executing ground and flight operations efforts including mission planning, risk analysis and management, briefing, taxi, flight, and debriefing in support of the client.
Security Level: Secret
Responsible for MQ-1C Instructor level proficiency
Participates in Special Projects as required
At least 200 Hrs MQ-1C Gray Eagle Instruction time given (Flight/Sim combined)
Must be able to maintain a Class II FAA Medical Certificate or DoD Equivalent
Must be able to ascend and descend stairs, stand for an extended period of time up to at least 50 minutes and walk at least 100 meters across uneven or unpaved surfaces
Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of SkyTap
The ability to work both independently and lead in a team environment is essential as is the ability to work extended hours and travel as required
Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to interface with all levels of employees, including senior management and senior military and civilian customers, contractors and aircrew
US citizenship required
Readiness Level 1
>500 Hours Gray Eagle Flight Experience
Army Deployment Experience
Practical knowledge of computer operations and applications
Bachelors Degree in a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; technical certifications or training; or work/military experience
Aptitude for creating positive relationships with coworkers and customer personnel under stressful conditions
